History of Veterinary Faculty

The Faculty of Veterinary Sciences was established in 2013 as part of Sheikh Zayed University. This faculty is dedicated to the growth and development of regional livestock through comprehensive teaching and training programs. Currently, the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences encompasses three departments: Pre-Clinic, Para-Clinic, and Clinic, all of which provide a broad-based education in veterinary science. The Faculty of Veterinary Sciences is staffed by 11 teachers, including 9 with master's degrees and 2 with bachelor's degrees. The faculty currently serves 409 students. Despite facing numerous challenges and shortcomings, the faculty has achieved significant progress over the past eleven years, providing excellent services in both teaching and learning. In addition to delivering theoretical instruction, the faculty has also made substantial contributions to practical training. Overall, the institution is committed to advancing and developing Afghanistan's livestock sector through high-quality education and research.
